Franklin Fibs

This book is about a turtle named Franklin. All of his friends brag to him. Franklin brags to his friends that he could eat seventy-five flies in a blink of the eye. Franklin is not telling the truth and he tells his mom and dad what he told his friends. Finally he tells the truth and he does eat seventy-five flies in a pie.

I liked this book because first Franklin tells a lie then he tells the truth. This book teaches you not to lie. Franklin was showing off to his friends when he told lies. I think he felt bad when he lied.

I recommend this book to kindergartners, first graders, and second graders. It will remind them to tell the truth.
