Afternoon on the Amazon

Do you like adventure? Well if you do than you should read this book. In book Afternoon On The Amazon, two adventurous siblings are going on a journey to the Amazon Rainforest. In the beginning of the story, Annie shouted “Hurry Jack!” They raced to the tree house and went inside “Panting”. They were super excited to travel through the magic tree house for the sixth time. Jack climbed in after Annie and caught a glimpse of something out the corner of his eye. A mysteries book had a picture of the Amazon Rainforest. After having a whole discussion with Annie, Jack thought it would be “neat” to go to the Amazon. Annie shivered. on the other hand had a different opinion. She thought the bugs were very “creepy” in the Rainforest. After awhile, Annie finally agreed to go. All of a sudden, they were off! When they opened their eyes, Annie looked out the tree house window. They were there! They climbed out the tree house and started their adventure. Later in the book, they get attacked by a… sorry, I would like to tell you more but I can’t. I should let you decide if you want to read the book to find out what happens!

This book is so magical and imaginative I didn’t want to put the book down until I finished it. Infact, I loved it so much I felt I was in their journey. Exploring with them and seeing animals that Jack and Annie never imagined before.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure and action because Afternoon On The Amazon, is a book that is very unexpecting and active. Anyone will enjoy this book very much. Also, you could never know what is going to happen next. I think this book will help people who have a hard time being creative be more creative and imaginative. Mary Pope writes a lot of outstanding books and you should read them.
